Countless millions of very sincere Christians have been taught that they will be whisked away and taken up in a “secret invisible rapture” of believers, but those same precious souls have been SINCERELY deceived. It is NOT going to happen that way. Many of the false preachers of our day have even instructed the people who are “Left Behind” what to do IF they are still in the world when the true believers have suddenly disappeared. Those same millions have been told that they will be with the Lord for seven years while all hell breaks loose here on planet Earth, and AFTER that seven-year tribulation the Lord will come back to reign on Earth for a thousand years. The only problem with that teaching is that the Bible and the Lord Jesus Christ tell us otherwise.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY WORDS shall NOT pass away. But of THAT DAY and HOUR KNOWETH NO MAN, no, NOT the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (Matthew 24:35-36)
Watch therefore, for YE KNOW NEITHER the DAY nor the HOUR wherein the Son of man COMETH. (Matthew 25:13)
Keep in mind here that the Lord Jesus Christ is the creator of ALL things (Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 44:24, John 1:1-3) and he surely knows when he is going to come again. If Jesus told us that no man knows the day nor the hour, then that is EXACTLY what he meant to say. It is important that you listen to what Jesus Christ says, before you listen to people such as C.I. Scofield and many others and what they say. Jesus Christ clearly told us that NO MAN knows the day nor the hour when the Son of Man (Jesus) comes back, and those words will NEVER pass away. If the false teachers are right, then there will be a seven-year tribulation, and the Lord will come again EXACTLY SEVEN YEARS AFTER the “secret rapture” of the true believers occurs. Folks don’t you know that all the people in the world are aware of what the television preachers are teaching? Do you NOT remember what happened when the false teacher Harold Camping of “Family Radio” falsely prophesied the rapture of Christians would take place on May 21, 2011? Do you not remember all the posters that were posted all over the country on buses, and billboards, WARNING people that a certain event would take place on that day? I remember watching a video of the mockers in Times Square in New York City at exactly 6 PM, as they mocked a very sincere man, as 6 PM came and went. Do you know how many people had their faith destroyed because of Harold Camping’s false prophecy? Not only that, but that was the second time that Harold Camping prophesied falsely, because he wrote a best-selling book entitled “1994” where he prophesied about the end times. People in the world are watching and listening to what the television preachers are teaching, and “prophesying” more closely than you think.
Another example of a FALSE PROPHECY being heard on “live” television, was found when television preacher Pat Robertson (700 Club Fame) falsely prophesied that Mitt Romney would win the 2012 Presidential Election. Pat Robertson was on a “live” program (VIDEO) with television preacher Benny Hinn, when he told Benny that “the LORD” told him that Mitt Romney would win, and then he went into different details about an economic boom which would take place AFTER Mitt Romney won the election. Benny Hinn said, “the LORD said that to you?” and Pat Robertson said “absolutely . . .” and then he told Benny, that he told Mitt Romney that he was “in prayer” and told Mitt Romney that he would win both the nomination and the general election. Pat Robertson then said that Mitt Romney asked him, “what can I do for you?” and Pat Robertson told Mitt Romney “Well give me a seat on the platform . . .” laughing hysterically ” . . .give me a ticket to your inauguration . . .” more laughing.
Pat Robertson went on to describe in explicit detail that the economy would be BOOMING, and that MITT ROMNEY would be a two-term President! (A double FALSE prophecy?) Pat Robertson went on to say that there would be “trillions of dollars coming into the economy . . there will be a flood of money . . . IF he is elected . . .”
Benny Hinn looked at him with a perplexed look on his face and said, “BUT the LORD told you he would be”, and Pat Robertson responded, “yes”.
The only problem with Pat Robertson’s prophecy regarding Mitt Romney WINNING the election, was that it was NOT from the Lord at all. Barack Obama was elected to a second term, and Pat Robertson’s prophecy NEVER came to pass because Pat Robertson spoke presumptuously, and it was a prophecy which was spoken from his own heart. This is the same Pat Robertson who said that God told him to run for President in 1988, but Pat Robertson was unsuccessful in his bid for the Presidency!
Did God mess up, or is it possible that Pat Robertson heard from “another spirit”?
And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we KNOW the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow NOT, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath NOT spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. (Deuteronomy 18:21-22)
People in the world are fully aware of what is being taught and preached on the air, and they are fully aware of the lavish lifestyle of many of those television preachers also. The point that I make here is that if millions of people were to suddenly “disappear” in a “secret invisible rapture” then everyone else who would be “Left Behind” would most CERTAINLY KNOW, that the Lord would be coming back EXACTLY 7 YEARS LATER.There would be BILLIONS of people who would KNOW the very DAY and the very HOURwhen Jesus Christ, the “Son of Man” returns. That would INVALIDATE the TRUTH which was spoken by Jesus Christ himself, that NO man would KNOW the DAY nor the HOUR! That would be like a THIEF telling a family the exact time that he would be stopping by to ransack, and STEAL everything in their house! Can you imagine a THIEF knocking on your door and telling you:
“Hi, I just want to tell you that I will be at this address seven years from now, at three o-clock in the morning to rob you blind, have a nice day.”
The secret rapture teaching is diametrically OPPOSED to the Lord Jesus Christ and the TRUTH which the LORD JESUS CHRIST spoke to us!

If Jesus Christ were to RETURN exactly 7 YEARS AFTER a Secret Invisible Rapture, THEN Billions Throughout the World Would KNOW the DAY and The HOUR when the Son of Man Comes!
You would have literally billions of people on planet Earth with full knowledge that the Lord Jesus Christ would RETURN, which is totally AGAINST the truth which the Lord Jesus Christ spoke. Do you see that? I hope that you see that. I encourage you to search the scriptures for yourself, so that you might come out of that type of teaching that has swallowed up millions of very sincere people.
There will be no “secret invisible rapture” or “great stealth evacuation” of believers, BUTwhen the Lord Jesus Christ returns, you WILL be gathered unto him on that day, IF you are ALIVE on Earth at that time! Glory to his name. Here is what the Bible tells us regarding the second coming of Jesus Christ:
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM, and they also which pierced him: and all KINDREDS of the earth shall WAIL because of HIM. Even so, Amen. (Revelation 1:7)
How many people are going to know it when the Lord Jesus Christ comes back? there will NOT be one person in the world who is not going to be aware that Jesus Christ has come again. The Bible tells us that “every eye shall see him” and so it will be.
What Happens When the Lord Comes Back?
The Jewish apostle Paul was a wretched murderer of true Christians, UNTIL he got saved and preached the very same gospel that the Christians were preaching, and which he formerly destroyed! (Galatians 1:23) Paul cared for his fellow Christians and he did not want them to be deceived by the false teachers of his time, and our time also. Listen to what Paul said here about the COMING of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. (2 Thessalonians 1:7-10)
Did you read that? Folks it is curtain time for those who DID NOT BELIEVE and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ during their lifetime. This is what is going to happen when the Lord Jesus Christ comes again. There will be no secret invisible rapture, but the Lord is going to JUDGEthe unbelievers and they will be DAMNED to an everlasting destruction on the last day. At the very same time the true believers who are ALIVE at that time will be going home to be with their precious Saviour Jesus Christ!
But the DAY OF THE LORD will come AS A THIEF in the NIGHT; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be BURNED UP. Seeing then that ALL these things shall be DISSOLVED, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the DAY of GOD, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be DISSOLVED, and the elements shall melt with FERVENT HEAT? Nevertheless we, according to HIS PROMISE, look for NEW HEAVENS and a NEW EARTH, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be DILIGENT that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. (2 Peter 3:10-14)
When Are the Believers Gathered Unto the Lord?
Read the passage of scripture below several times, and let the truth sink down deep inside your heart, so that YOU never forget it.
Now we beseech you, brethren, by THE COMING of OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, and by OUR GATHERING together UNTO HIM, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the DAY of CHRIST is at hand. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-2)
When are the believers gathered unto the Lord Jesus Christ to be with him forever? That happens at the COMING of our LORD JESUS CHRIST which is also known as the “DAY OF CHRIST” which is the same “DAY OF THE LORD” which the apostle Peter spoke about in 2 Peter 3:10-14. So, it is most important that you understand that the second coming of Jesus Christ is going to come “as a thief in the night” and it will come suddenly, and unexpected. There will be no secret invisible rapture of the believes which will precede the second coming of Jesus Christ, as is taught by so many false teachers in our modern day.
The Lord Jesus Christ is going to gather his people when he comes back again, and that is in FULL agreement with what the Jewish apostle Paul wrote in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2. Millions have been seduced in these last days with the false teaching of a secret invisible rapture, followed by a “seven-year great tribulation” which has been made popular by the false teacher C.I. Scofield, and his “Scofield Study Bible” with his man-made notes.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a GREAT SOUND of a TRUMPET, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matthew 24:29-31)
The Lord gathers his people AFTER the tribulation (or distress) of those days, and that is simply talking about a time of trouble at the end of the world. That passage of scripture should be enough to get the attention of the false teachers who preach that people will escape their “Great Tribulation” and be invisibly raptures to be with the Lord, while all hell breaks out on the earth. Not only that but there is going to be mourning going on throughout the world, when Jesus Christ, the Son of man comes back, because people are going to know inwardly that they were not believers, and they will know that they will be spending eternity in Hell!
But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. (Mark 13:24-27)
Every Eye Shall See Jesus When He Comes Again!
There will NOT be a secret invisible rapture of the “church” at all, but the church will be gathered at the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. (Revelation 1:7)
Jesus Christ is coming in the clouds, and EVERY EYE is going to see him when he comes. I believe that this verse is in the Bible, to refute the FALSE secret rapture teaching, that the Lord knew would come down the pike centuries before they preached this nonsense! Not only that, but the language used by the apostle John is like the language used in the gospel of Matthew.
In Matthew 24:30 the tribes (Greek word PHULE) of the earth mourn (Greek word KOPTO) at the sight of Jesus Christ when they see him coming.
In Revelation 1:7 the kindreds (Greek word PHULE) earth wail (Greek word KOPTO) at the sight of Jesus Christ when they see him coming.
Did you notice that the same Greek word is used to translate the word tribes and the word kindreds, and that word is PHULE?
Did you notice that the same Greek word is used to translate the word mourn and the word wail, and that word is KOPTO?
The Second Coming Will Be a Very Noisy Event!
The Lord Jesus Christ said that he would send his angels with “the sound of a great trumpet”, and it would be at that time when the believers would be gathered. (Matthew 24:29-31), so we know that it will certainly be a noisy event when the Lord returns to gather his people. The Jewish apostle Paul agrees with Jesus Christ, and he tells us that the Lord will descend (second coming) with a shout, the voice of the archangel, and with the trump (trumpet) of God! There will NOT be a secret invisible rapture so do NOT listen or believe what the modern-day false teachers are telling you!
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
